Julia Quin
Founding Director
In 2015, Julia found herself navigating the grief, pain, and confusion of her daughter’s eating disorder diagnosis. Together, they encountered barriers, misunderstanding and frustration while trying to navigate the care system and find effective treatment. Julia’s daughter’s recovery was hard-fought and one of the most challenging times of their family’s life and they feel incredibly fortunate she was able to recover from her illness and thrive.
Julia is empathetic and understanding. She is passionate about using her lived experience as a carer to guide and upskill others, so the whole family feels supported, empowered and skilled to manage the challenges of eating disorder recovery.
